Wasp Collecting for Allergy Treatments

How We Collect Your Nest

After you have completed the removal request form and if you are located in one of our collection areas, we'll call you within a few days to schedule an appointment. We typically schedule collection appointments between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is not necessary that you be home since all our work is outside the home. We only require that when filling out the removal request form, be very specific on the location of the nest on your property, so that our crew can find it and remove it accordingly.

Once we have an appointment scheduled, a professional collection crew will show up in a well-marked "ALK Source Materials" pick-up truck. Most likely they'll be dressed in white, protective "bee suits" not unlike a hazmat team!! They'll use any one of several vacuum setups to extract the insects from their nest. In the case of exposed home or wasp nests, upon removal of the insects, we'll also remove the nest itself and take it away in our truck.

For concealed, in-ground or in-wall yellow jacket nests; we can't actually remove the nest without digging up your yard or tearing the siding off your house. Instead, our collection crew will remove as many insects as possible through a lengthy vacuum process. If the nest doesn't collapse and die after that, we'll come back to your house a second time and collect it again.

For your protection and ours, we are fully insured and can provide proof upon request.
